If you are installing the database on a Windows Domain Controller, you will need to do this installation manually. The reason for this is that Microsoft does not support installing Microsoft SQL Server (a data storage program) on a Windows Domain Controller. The video below gives a work around installation procedure.

The Management by Statistics uses Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2. If you want support for SQL Server 2012 click here to download and install the full Database Manager version 3.2.

The following link will take you to the Microsoft page to download the SQL Server installer.

There is a video covering this installation on page 2.

Read all instructions as you go for easy, simple installation and use.

Preparation

1. Ensure all Windows updates have been done. If a Windows update has been started but not completed, the installation may not be successful.
2. Ensure you are signed into the computer as an administrator. Windows computers can have multiple users and only Windows users which are designated as administrators can perform the installation of this software. An error will occur during installation if you are not signed into Windows with an administrator user.
3. Ensure the computer meets the minimum requirements, which are:
Windows version: Windows XP, 7, 8/8.1, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2 or 2012. Both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows are supported. If you need support for Windows 10, download and install version 3.2.
System Memory: At least 512 MB [MB = Mega bytes or millions of bytes] (4GB is recommended)
Free Diskspace: At least 2 GB [GB = Giga bytes or billions of bytes] (20GB is recommended)
Internet Access: Required to use the Cloud Account feature. The cloud feature will not operate when computer is disconnected from the internet.
